Melissa Mulvaney, MAE, DiplAc, LAc, CCWFN
A licensed and nationally board-certified acupuncturist, Melissa Mulvaney received her Acupuncture degree after four years of study at Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine in Boone, North Carolina. After starting a successful practice in Fort Mill, South Carolina, her husband's job moved her to Roswell, Georgia where her business grew in less than a year from a one-room space to a three-room office in the Creekside Office Park where she currently provides acupuncture and whole food nutrition services.
In addition to a B.A. in Theatre and a M.A. in Education from Truman State University, Melissa holds certifications in CPR and first aid safety, clean needle technique, NADA acupuncture detoxification, shonishin (Japanese pediatric acupuncture), facial rejuvenation acupuncture, facial massage, facial cupping and gua sha, facial micro needling, and has recently completed a two year, 100-hour certification in whole food nutrition from the International Foundation for Nutrition and Health.
In her free time, Melissa enjoys reading fiction, sewing, birdwatching, and spending time with her husband, young son, and two dogs.
